Welcome to the FFCA DiSC Training Program!
Several personality assessments, such as the Five-Factor Model and the Myers-Briggs test, show connections between personality descriptors and how our personality impacts relationships. The DiSC Model has well over forty years of analysis on its validity across the four quadrants of this personality assessment, including:
- The D (Dominance) style is active and questioning. This quadrant describes direct, forceful, and outspoken people with their opinions.
- The i (Influence) style is active and accepting. This quadrant describes people who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and lively.
- The S (Steadiness) style is thoughtful and accepting. This quadrant describes gentle, accommodating, and patient with 'others' mistakes.
- The C (Conscientiousness) style is thoughtful and questioning. This quadrant describes people who are analytical, reserved, and precise.
Whether you want to deliver DiSC to your clients or join our organization faculty, we make it easy to get started. Select an option that best meets your needs. The DiSC Certification enrollment into the required 16-hour training of trainers program will commence 2 hours weekly. DiSC Training is live and requires at least 80% in-class participation.
* We will have no classes during the President's Day week break.
We offer a few levels of opportunities to join this training program. Join us weekly from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. California Time (Pacific Standard Time Zone). We will have everything LIVE, so all colleagues must join us over eight weeks at one of these times. FFCA will open approved trainers of the DiSC program with and in cooperation with FFCA. Numerous requests to have the opportunity to join our faculty team are now available.

The final phase of the DiSC Certification Training of Trainers is joining our team or entering into an authorized facilitator agreement with FFCA. You will join our trusted partner network of consultants, trainers, faculty, and coaches. The process will allow you to benefit from the following:
- FFCA meets the Accreditation Standards as an approved National Association of Social Workers provider.
- Ability to provide CEUs for attendees of DiSC Workshops approved by FFCA.
- The FFCA team will support branding, marketing, enrollment system, fee processing, and certificates to participants for your local training efforts.
- Increase Your Capacity by Partnering with Fathers and Families Coalition of America.
We have trained thousands of individuals walking with them through the DiSC program. FFCA will start the process of a training of trainers program. We have a curriculum in English and Spanish to deliver DiSC to your clients as part of our team and authorized faculty. Our certification process will include examining research and theory of the DiSC assessment and participating in an FFCA course, either the Advanced Practitioner Credential or the OAR Leadership Program. Joining our faculty will include co-facilitating sessions after you go through a comprehensive DiSC training program apart from one of the two required programs. In the DiSC Certification program, we will learn together over a 16-hour training program to understand and apply the principles of everyday behavior based on William Moulton Marston and lessons learned teaching the DiSC program to thousands of individuals.
When you go through training provided at Fathers and Families Coalition of America, we will begin unlocking potential healthy relationships starting with self. Together, we will explore the state of our natural and adaptive responses to our environment and people and what is optimal for our well-being. However, there is more than understanding the four quadrants of this assessment. The DiSC quadrants are in each of us. However, these combinations or two dimensions are aspects of our nature that cannot be viewed as independent but related constructs or combinations. The DiSC assessment gives a window of our predominantly style (behavior in a setting or with others) demonstrated traits in continuous relationship with each quadrant. When you go through our training program, we blend it with Emotional Intelligence, revealing the connections, enhancing our understanding of self, and improving relationships with others.
What Makes the DiSC Profile and Training for Professionals and Parents Unique?
FFCA's approach integrates the DiSC with evidenced-based strategies to provide learners may initially seem exciting. There is an abundance of personality profiles available to incorporate into a training program and strengthen learning. Participants learn about the other profile styles to increase self-awareness; build stronger relationships; communicate effectively; help minimize conflict. The broadened perspective creates a new pathway for discussions to enhance or develop relationships, self-management skills, and a couple or parent-child cohesion, and explain what communication and personality profiles work and what does not work in relationships. The training produces a unique assessment that identifies an individual's preferred approach to emotional, critical habits, and intentional responses. FFCA's approach is an empowerment-based positive emphasis on behavioral and communication tendencies.
