"Dr. Rodriguez,  It worked out well not having the Textbook because it forced me to concentrate on taking better and more detailed notes. Now, as I flip through the book, I'm able to start synthesizing the info right away. There are many aspects of the training that I like and appreciate; 1] exposure to different models & interventions that are a good fit for the fathers' program I envision; 2] the structure of the training transcends multiple human service disciplines and provides insights to how they intersect; 3] first time in my 30-year career that I've had the privilege of attending training that was designed, developed, implemented by "brown" and "black" professionals and where the attendees were also; and 4] Puerto Rico chose a site for the training outside of the mainland and in beautiful Puerto Rico! - Kudos to You and Your Team*  Herb Pierre, Saginaw, Michigan."
