Professional Development

How does a small in size nonprofit continue as an influential source of professional development and more?

The short answer is continuous quality improvement. It takes a lot of passion, commitment to excellence, and redefining success to build upon and help others in their journey to be the difference. We are viewed as a high-impact agency centered on family well-being and father engagement and advocates for children and families.

Throughout the past two-plus decades, we have provided professional development training, conferences, specialty credential, and leadership courses to over thirty thousand individuals. In 2022, we hosted over 600 colleagues from over fifteen nations at our annual conference. Our leadership development program had an overall rating of 4.89, with almost 200 professionals that completed this dynamic model. The number of people supported through our organization is not as significant as the impact.

Let's continue in 2023 to be a place we all can come together and be a difference in the lives of others.

Leadership

Our 2023 agency theme is Be The Difference!

Our organization is committed to supporting the capacity of practitioners through an array of programs by the Fathers and Families Coalition of America, as well as global partnerships to expand skills and knowledge and be the best professional to raise support for parents' and families' well-being. We have a dynamic leadership program for both professionals and parents.  The expressions of the content in our models are based on evidence-based strategies and proven skills used by thousands of graduates.

We set a high standard for parent engagement workshops at our annual conference.  Our conferences or programs intend that parents or professionals attend an experience, not an event. We ensure sessions for parents to take away from experts to grow in their journey as a dad or mom. We bridge technology with our program to provide parents and professionals with can connect, create communities and engage.

Get ready to take engagement and opportunities to the next level. We want to have you in a place of collaboration, share knowledge, discover experts that have joined our organization as faculty members, and so much more. Text "Be The Difference" at 424-310-0024.

We are humbled by the kind words from those who have used our programs.

  • My take away from the Fatherhood Practitioner Credential training was that implementing a program with fidelity is key and in this field, we must get comfortable with the uncomfortable.

  • “It was very inspiring, and it gave me ideas of how to engage parents in our program” .

    Yazmín Bu

  • "I took away many things from this training; however, the idea of doing more has really stuck with me. I really didn't know what to expect prior to coming but it really opened my eyes to what I could do to really impact my community and families."
